Full-Estate Lighting in Woodinville, WA

Nestled in the prestigious Lake of the Woods community, this expansive Woodinville estate called for a lighting design that could rise to the occasion—refined, purposeful, and timeless. With 203 custom-placed fixtures, our team created a full-property transformation that embraces elegance, family life, and outdoor usability after dark.

From a grand circular drive and dramatic brick façade to an enclosed rear lawn flanked by grapevine-covered garden tunnels, this property offered a unique opportunity to blend architectural uplighting, garden path lighting, and family-friendly features—all in a consistent 2700K tone for warmth and continuity.

The property includes:

  • A tiered fountain anchoring a formal front drive

  • Uplighting on mature trees, brickwork, and columns

  • Grapevine tunnels lining a wide lawn

  • A gazebo with interior fountain as a central rear focal point

  • A children’s playhouse and swing subtly lit for evening play

  • Multiple zones for lounging, entertaining, and family use

DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS

  • 2700K lighting ensures consistency across architecture, trees, and garden beds

  • Custom beam spreads for targeted uplighting and glare control

  • Multiple switchable zones for entertainment vs. ambient modes

  • Emphasis on hidden fixtures to preserve clean lines and natural beauty

This Lake of the Woods property now enjoys the full benefit of architectural and landscape lighting—from the moment guests enter the gate to the last twilight hour on the back lawn. Whether entertaining or relaxing as a family, this home is built to be enjoyed day and night.

Lighting the First Impression

At the front entry, the lighting guides your eye from the tiered fountain in the circular drive to the detailed brick of the main home. Path lights hug the curved driveway while trees are softly illuminated to frame the entry in a warm halo.

A Living Hallway of Light

The back lawn is defined by dual grapevine-covered tunnels that lead toward a beautifully lit white gazebo housing a fountain. Each arch is grounded by warm in-ground fixtures that highlight foliage, trunks, and trellising vines. The overall effect is elegant, romantic, and perfectly walkable.

A Space That Serves All Ages

This estate is not just for admiring—it’s for living. One of our favorite lighting touches was around the children’s playhouse and swing, offering gentle illumination so evening play could continue safely while adults relax nearby. Tree uplights and edge-of-lawn wash lights maintain ambiance without overpowering the view.
