Tucked into the landscape of Bellevue, this expansive estate was thoughtfully illuminated with 85 custom-placed fixtures in Northwest Outdoor Lighting’s signature Sunset Tone. Designed to feel warm, inviting, and deeply integrated into the property’s natural surroundings, the lighting composition transforms the estate into a layered nighttime experience while preserving the serenity of the gardens and architecture.

The design focuses on gentle illumination rather than overpowering brightness. Mature trees are softly uplit to reveal texture and canopy depth, while winding drive approaches and garden pathways are carefully guided with warm pools of light that create both beauty and clarity after dark. Architectural details emerge subtly from the shadows, allowing the home itself to feel grounded within the landscape rather than disconnected from it.

Throughout the property, the Sunset Tone color temperature introduces an amber warmth that complements Bellevue’s lush greenery and evening skies. The result is a more intimate nighttime atmosphere that feels closer to candlelight and sunset than traditional exterior lighting.

With 85 fixtures strategically integrated across the estate, the installation balances aesthetics, safety, and functionality while maintaining a refined, low-glare presentation from every angle. Sport Court Lighting

Designed for both recreation and atmosphere, the illuminated sport court at Bellevue Garden Estate extends the usability of the space well into the evening hours without overwhelming the surrounding landscape. Warm perimeter lighting softly defines the court while minimizing glare, creating a more comfortable nighttime experience for both play and viewing. The surrounding trees and landscape were intentionally integrated into the design so the sport court feels connected to the estate rather than isolated from it.

Property Wall Lighting

The extensive property walls became a defining architectural feature after dark through carefully layered illumination. Warm uplighting accentuates texture, depth, and rhythm along the estate’s perimeter while maintaining a refined, understated presence from the street. The lighting design enhances both security and visual continuity throughout the property, creating a soft glow that guides the eye across the landscape without harsh hotspots or glare.

Walkway & Garden Path Lighting

The estate’s walkways were designed to feel inviting, serene, and effortlessly navigable after sunset. Subtle pools of warm light guide movement through the gardens while preserving the peaceful nighttime atmosphere of the property. Layered illumination along planting beds, pathways, and transitions creates depth and dimension throughout the landscape, allowing guests to experience the gardens in an entirely different way after dark.
