Illuminating Seattle's Charm
Perched high above Lake Washington, this timeless brick Tudor in Seattle’s Laurelhurst neighborhood offers sweeping views of the city, rich foliage, and layered outdoor living spaces. Our lighting design focused on accentuating the home’s architectural beauty, revealing the textures of century-old brick, garden walls, and mature trees after sunset.
Carefully chosen 2700K warm white fixtures enhance curb appeal while offering security and visibility throughout the property—from the stately front gate and brick steps to the secluded upper patio framed by lavender beds and boxwoods.

A Pathway Transformed

This Laurelhurst garden path tells the story of what professional lighting can do. In the daylight—or in this case, the unlit “before”—the stairs blend into the surrounding greenery, offering little depth, no definition, and limited usability once the sun goes down.
With our lighting design in place, the transformation is instant. Each riser now gently glows with warmth, leading the eye upward and creating a sense of invitation. Carefully placed uplights draw out the textures of the ornamental grasses and layered shrubs, while the surrounding rockery takes on new dimension. The sculptural garden stool becomes a softly glowing feature of its own—no longer hidden, but showcased.
This is more than illumination. It’s how we create magic after dark—turning overlooked garden moments into evening destinations.

Garden Wall & Patio Glow
Low-set lighting was installed in brick walls surrounding the patio to cast a soft, downward glow—illuminating walking paths while preserving the peaceful ambiance during twilight dining and lounging hours.

Architectural Uplighting
Fixtures were positioned to graze the home’s front façade, highlighting the rich red tones of the brick and the curvature of the arched entryway. Magnolia and ornamental trees were lit to echo this vertical drama.

Stairs & Privacy Screening
LED path lights and uplights gently lead guests up staircases and through garden corridors. Strategic placement behind ornamental grasses and hedges adds dimension while protecting natural privacy screening.
